In the mid 80's, Chinese Martial Arts Tournaments started to sprout
on a National Level, and the Academy has been there competing and assisting
in judging.
1989 accepted as a student of Grandmaster Yuan Wei Chang
1997 Chen Pan Ling's Tai Chi Chuan book was published. It was translated
by Grandmaster Y.W. Chang, naming Sifu Carlos Aguilar as his senior student.
In 2005, on the 20th Year Anniversary of the Academy, Sifu Carlos Aguilar
promoted his first New Orleans Kung Fu Tournament dedicated to his teacher

Founded the Y.W. Chang Internal Arts Association in honor of his teacher
